Ad. 1 Definitely! Lack of entries was our main concern while judging.
Ad. 3 I decided to not comment on our decisions, so I'll just say - in judges opinion it was not as good as falcon, but better than LR and jetbike

Ad. 4 PM Szaman on this forum. He should solve that problem.

Hi Hortwerth
1. I was afraid there might've been even less people and entries. All in all I was pretty satisfied with this as the FIRST Polish GD. With such a poor advertisement campaign it was still great to see any foreigners and so many Polish painters there! And I didn't know about people who didn't want to enter.
2. It was Slawek who spelled it differently at various times, so I got confused. I will correct it immediately.
3. It was neater. Simple but neater. The paint was smoother and neater in generall. Phil also loved the weathering on it for some reason. On your Land Raider - which was much better as a concept and design - paint was thick and rough in some parts. The jury decided that if possible technical flaws like these should be avoided in award winning minis, so the miniature without these problems gained the upper hand, but this fight for the 2nd and 3rd places was a tough one.
4. I saw them too, I think you need to PM Szaman about these. I don't think getting this should be a problem
cheers and nice to see you here.
PS - how many trophies did you get? two?

But I told "I GOT CONFUSED" - as if checking the name on CMON was too hard for me

Don't feel guilty, because misspelling is what makes internet so much fun

For the looks of it the first Polish GD was a huge sucess, congratulations to all involved. Its a good sign that the hobby comunity there its getting stronger by the year, cant wait to see 2008GD quality.
I was especting to see entries from prolific resident cyberzombi Demi, more ana stuff, mahon did you enter?
Wasnt especting Nameless as a judge but its very fitting
oh and welcome Hortwerth, glad to see you here.
Again congrats to all, you guys are very lucky to have so many painters in your country.

Wasnt especting Nameless as a judge
Why not?
Demi didn't come at all, Mahon was a judge, Ana spent too much time on Drune Riders

just as Nameless said - Demi didn't come at all, which was a shame I think. Ana's entry was time-consuming enough, and you cannot enter Rackham stuff

I couldn't enter as a member of the jury, and Nameless was the most obvious and perfect candidate for a judge, if my opinion has any importance....
