I'm not sure if brown undercoat is the best idea for painting red in final:
personally I didn't achieve anything satisfying painting red over brown... painting reds sucks :?

Its not brown :)
I use chaos black+blood red
I hope I found strength to put some more colours on it and it should be ok. Now its rather messy

the different layer of red and blue looks smooth......and transitions better than before

just the metal parts look a little bit grainy :/

I will need to work on them. They are some metalics on driver and non metalics on motor. I nthink I need to put some washes on metalics part of driver armour maybe this will help
