GW often uses old models as a base or inspiration for new ones.
These aren't conversions but the new models for Dark Angels as the pics were take on a GD event (if I remember correctly it was the spanish GD)

Thanks for the welcome :)

If these guys are the new Dark Angels then i have to admit i'm a little disappointed. Its a good idea to look back to previous lines for inspiration but i'd have expected them to be a little bit more creative.

As for the static poses I think they're great for command models, they give them a good presence and a sense of authority over the grunts running round pulling their action poses ;)

Hi All

Went to Warhammer World over the weekend and the new DA's were on display and I quite like them now I have seen them in the flesh so to speak especially the jet bike :)

the first librarian is a bit clumsy and too massive, but the ravenwing guy (master?) is simplty excellent. good job GW!

I like all but the first Librarian, that just doesn't do it for me, but the termie librarian and the master of the ravenwing are awesome.
