First try at NMM... could use some more advice

to me only some more contrast is needed - pick the edges with bleached bone and the top-highlights even with white.

use some brownish glaze to make the dark parts even darker...

to me the color isn't important, i've seen on CMoN beautiful NMM made with pink.

the highlight on trims and kneepad look good, while the khorne symbol needs a more sharp highlighting to me.
you improve from a pic to another, very good!:D

Mahon: I've tried your advice and I must admit I looks better now. The contrast is good, now I only need to figure out where to put the sharpest highlights exactly :)

I haven't painted for 2 days now. So I can start working on my NMM again with new energy ;)

the white highlights should go where the color is highlighted the most :)
