If you really liked the skaven - it is joe ortezas - I will be posting pics of the some of the green stages on my website in the next couple of days
He sent me a few pics for comment and critique early on. Im glad he finished in time - it is pretty cool.

It will be in the "friends" folder under his name.

yep i still think that that one should have won at least something.. oh and necron lord and necron squad also best in Chicago in my opinion...

Must say that no bug presence kind of makes me sad.

I was talking with Joe about the skaven last night - he said that he ended up rushing the paintjob to get it done and it showed. He is still kicking himself in the arse for not having just waited until it was ready and he had the time to finish it appropriately. I believe his words were something like Gold level sculpt with a fourth or fifth place paintjob.

Live and learn eh?
James

PS im gonna put the green pics up on my site now so check em out when ya like.

same here. i was also surprised that Natalya's demon with OSL effects didn't take gold as IMHO it was the best in the category. Did the Americans decide not to give her gold in every single category she entered? ;)

I actually really like the Necromancer (Staff slayer) - an odd but interesting model - it is a neat concept, with really cool subtle lighting.
