Thanks Demi ^^,

the shoulder pads are painted with a base coat of scorched brown and bestial brown, then a thin layer of bestial brown, then i slowly added bleached bone to it bleached bone working my way up in many successive layers. The last layer has a hint of skull white in it, but more so for the helmet so it creates a focal point.

Looks good to me. Only thing that stands out is some of the highlighting looks a little inconsistent. The red on the back of the legs is a bit different than the red on the gun arm in the second picture. Just an observation, not sure if you really care enough to change it. :P

You're welcome :) i hope it helps. I went to gamesday today and had some fun nice to meet up with lots of other painters including Kornel :D but i didn't get a chance to find Bohun :( still i saw his entry and it's really nice. I got lots of tips and pointers from other painters so hopefully i can do more to improve for next year.

My gamesday entry which i had been slaving over on and off and losing motivation on at times was 5 space wolf veteran models. Im pretty happy with them in general i think as a unit they look good together and work quite well:

Anyway after a long day i managed to get 2 finalist badges for my entries, now i have to try harder and aim for the demon.

Man...... coming to this site seriously damages my confidence in my own painting abilities.

Arctica, I have to agree with you completely on the cloak for the terminator, darker is the way to go. If you had gone with the cream cloak it would look good but the head and shoulders wouldn't stand out nearly as much.
