I fully acknowledge everyone's right to own personal taste of course. I'm just asking what has drawn Slawol's attention to these 2 minis. Personally I can't see anything special about them. paintjob, basing, atmosphere - all of these seem to be below the "pic of a day" standard. IMHO

I always thought that "pics of the day" suggested that it was about pictures which caught our attention on that day. - not necessarily new works, not necessarily top 10. just the ones we stumbled upon and felt they deserve to be shared here. preferably: not posted here yet, and not posted to CofC in showcase/wip threads...

but you know - the thread never had any strict rules...
