Thanks guys! The grey like stuff was in my mind more fo a ceramicy type of material and not nmm. I'm still a metalic painter guy! Appreciate the comments a lot.

I have to admit this is imo your best work yet, i love the blends and the gritty but almost cartoony feel for the character. you focus on his angry face which is done so very well.

What's your paint recipe for his skin tones? i think it works exceptionally well. Great stuff dude :) can't wait to see more, plus it's an awesome mini to finish 2011 with ^^

Thanks for the comments guys. I painted the majority of this mini before I posted that Grymn mini. I wanted to try something dark and gritty ('Cause that's what I usually gravitate too I think mini wise) and I had picked up some of the MaxMini Ork heads. This will go on eBay.

Thing is I took the highlights up on several of the areas quite a bit more, but then knocked them down as I thought it look to OTT with the historical colours I was using for his gear. I wished I would have left them. If you look the right arm flesh is closer to where I had it, and the left arm looks to me quite a bit flatter. Also I seemed to have some issues with smoothness when I was using Vallejo and P3 mixed together. Anyone else have this problem?

I was pretty happy with the metals in general, and I sunk some extra time into the power klaw. I bet this was close to a 30hr mini, but I don't think it looks it. Painted very inneficiently but I enjoyed it quite a bit. Here's the mini anyway...

This is from Red Box games. I wanted him to look like a low level Skyrim dude. Man that game has made me a crappy father! I haven't been around much because that game is pretty damn awesome!

I wanted to have the mini looking down on the base. THIS IS A MISTAKE! It makes it impossible to photograph the eyes. This is frustrating if you spent many, many, many re-do's trying to get the eyes not all googly looking. This is precious time you could spend playing Skyrim! Next time, lean the mini UPWARDS Radom! Anyway... here's a votey link if you like...

Thanks for looking! All crits loved, valued, and adored. Thanks again.

Did this 15mm jobby between workig on the Red Box guy. It's quite different working on 15mm vs. 28mm I think. Any general or specific tips?
