Not exactly saying much there, mate. Anyway the mini is wonderful from a sculpting perspective, but I don't really like it for some reason. Couldn't really say why, it just doesn't grab me like a lot of their stuff does.mahon wrote:well, the painting is good but I meant the mini. better than the beholders from another thread

it's often all about personal taste and preferences. this one may fall within the scope of my interest and outside yours...Sarrazon wrote:Anyway the mini is wonderful from a sculpting perspective, but I don't really like it for some reason. Couldn't really say why
nothing surprising here..
I still like it a lot.
thanks for those extra photos

I kinda like aspects of it and the level of detail but it's also a bit strange for me, not sure I will get this one, perhaps a bit more looking at it might sway my opinion.

I will stay away from this one, its lovely painted but besides that, it dosent make me want one
Re: Studio McVey Miniatures
well, I wasn't going to buy this one. buying every mini I like would ruin my budget and bury me under a heap of metal/resin/plastic toys

what I don't like is the antenna... It doesn't suit the fantasy look of the mini. Even if it were steampunk, this antenna looks too 1970
Re: Studio McVey Miniatures
weren't the 70s steampunk? no mobile phones, etc.
