Controversial subject aside, it's a really good diorama - good painting, excellent interaction, rich enviroment, and obvious storyline.

As for the subject - so many war movies touch the subject, that moving it to the world of 40K seems so obvious that I am really surprised nobody has ever done it before.

Technically it seems perfectly done to me as well...
If you like it or not, thats another question. Almost all minis we paint are related to violence, war, killing etc., so this in a way only shows another facet of the same topic.

The Space Marine is great

I like the flats from the first pic. I somehow tend to like what people do with such flats. Maybe one day I will paint one?

It seems like something between canvas painting and miniature painting. You have to work with lights and shadows much more than on normal minis...

That Ork looks photoshopped to me (everything desaturated except the blue & red parts that are sooo saturated, that it becomes disturbing) ...

for me it looks like camera seting - vivid collors - reds pop out the photo.. hym Nikon ??
