I completely repainted the skin on Airtis after he got in a little fight with my cat.
I like the skin better now, but I took pics because I think my eyes were fooling me.

What do you guys think I should improve on the skin?

dont have much criticism there O_o looks pretty smooth - did you light it from above to take the picture?

personally i would blend in a blueish grey in the shadow areas, but maybe depends on the other colors you will use on the clothing, etc.

Excellent job on the skin. I would make the shadows look a bit colder but other than that it's fine - even though the photos were very big, the model still looks excellent on them

nice work on this one but go further in the shadows don't be afraid

use a dark green to contrast with red of you skin base, like a camo for exemple

Above, front and the two sides. So the light and colors are pretty accurate. But I have to admit, P3 paint gets a bit glossy if you thin it a lot, so the shine on top is a bit stronger than IRL.

I have added a darker sanguine color to the skin. Same color is in the base and will probable be added to the color of the pants. I was thinking about adding blue to that color to make it darker and deeper, but I was too tired at that time :)
But why the grey? I never used grey in a skintone.

As soon as they can take their own pictures and stop using "claw-paint" ;)

Sorry if the pics are too big. Didn't think it was necessary to resize them.
And I think I might have to go with the blue (grey) as Trov said to cool the shades down.

Thanx for the comments :)

Thanks for the tip :)

Matte medium was added while highlighting. Nothing was added to the shade colors.

what i usually do is use shadow grey (its blue/grey, not a straightforward blue) and add a bit of black for shadows. sometimes i use one or two very thin layers of codex grey (+/- a bit of black) or equivalent as a last touch. it works for me, i have no theory for it. i just paint and dont think too much while painting ^^
