in the very morning I painted more rust and metallics on quivadius; to finish the model I actually have to only paint part of a shotgun and skull hanging on it;
and of course after placing on it's "base" - adding glow and shadows...

I would prefer a 1/35 but just to expensive for kitbashing purposes..

I got this one
ImageClick to see full-sized image

for just 13 euros... if it was bigger scaled it would go for 30-40 euros

yep, bigger scales tent to be quite pricey. smaller scales are good enough for me and quicker to finish :)

And you really have to see these sprues, its like a reality check how GW is overpriced and poor comparing to the intricate detail level of these.

i know it wothout seeing the sprues. for the price of a standard GW tank which consists of maybe 20 parts you can get a 100+ parts plus a sheet of photoetched stuff, and the quality and detailing is uncomparable. but hey, it's not a Rhino/Leman Russ/Falcon, I can hear them say...

Indeed, I think theres lots of new and better kits to explore these days and not that expensive, what would you buy with 13 euros at GW's? maybe some blisters and thats it... I got so many cool bitz for my convos that i'm tempted to get more kits :)
