Here you're standard compensation is the price of your stamp and box if you're lucky. Unless you've taken an insurance, then you get the ammount you insured it for. If I could prove that it was a valuable object, I can a bigger compensation, tut sadly I can't prove that I send something with the value of the Mona Lisa

And yes, if they DO find the package and manage to finally deliver it, I have to refund the money they payed as compensation.

I'm not going to get pissed over it. It's the third package they lost this year and experience tells me it's better to just move on...
