although I'd hit the flesh with olive or purple delicate glaze to give it more variety

Good idear Demi!

The $500 project is going okay, trouuble being it's stalled some as this summer has been super busy between work and I've spent a lot of time learning golf as well. Still get to slap a brush on a thing or two every now and then. Though I did just bust the hell out of a mini after I took some WIP pictures...

About 15hrs down the toilet as the arm of the mini is under my deck somewhere.

But hopefully I can start posting some stuff again soon! Thanks again guys.

Man it's been a while since I finished something! I've been busy with work, family, and I discovered golf this year too. Anyway, here's the latest. Painted for a comp over on WAMP. Thanks for looking gang!

It looks very interesting, especially the lenses catch much attention :)
The base is ok and maybe if you add someting special(somedetail) it would be more interesting?

simple, clean, nice paintjob. not a contest winner though, it just lacks some WOW factor for this. with such a small mini you either paint it extremely well or make an interesting base for it to tell a story of that particular mini.
good luck at the contest!

Well done.
But you could spend a little bit more time to the base. Perhaps some freehands or some different colours in the stones.

Thanks for the response gang. I appreciate it. Defo more work on the base next time!
