I'm getting the ammount I paid for postage compensated. Since I don't have a written value for the mini, nor an insureance, they can't compensate that...

well, I don't know what are post regulation in your country. In Poland you'd still be entitled to some compensation - up to tenfold of shipping costs. So, if you paid €10 for shipping, you could get up to €100 back.

moreover if they loose your parcel, pay compensation and after several months they find it somewhere - you have to give back the money
