That's exactly the same as I was thinking. Here you can see the whole making off the model. It started out great with all the freehands, but once he painted the rest it was a bit dissapointing. But keep in mind he's only 16 years old, I think we'll see more of him in the future :)

Great finds btw mahon. I love the gobbo. The gun is indeed amazing!!!

Okay, read some of it and he does get a lot of praise for his freehand (and quite rightly so!) but no one really points out that he should work some more on the weaker parts. (only read about re-positioning him a bit) I hope someone will say it to him as he does have potential.

Now I'll go hide, cause lately I've seen some great young painters stepping up... (counting a very talented 12 year old  from the local gameshop!)

Tifa. Loved the artwork where this one is from, I think he managed quite good to resemble that!

Wow! Most of these are great. The last one looks almost exactly the same as the artwork, very nicely done. The first pic I really like, the English knight just looks so great.

The only one I'm not too keen on is the Bret Peg. I don't think the wings.

Sophia is a very talented artisit in both sculpting and painting, I have just bought one of these and am looking forward to painting it, I also bought the lord of pestilence which is another excellent model.
