Nice piece Demi. I like it a lot and I am not that partial to dwarves. Everyone else has mentioned any thing that I see, so just bask in my comps to you.

Demi_morgana wrote:it's once again the same problem: I highlighted beards and flesh too slightly and after these elements were glazed and varnished (it's gaming piece so it must be protected against battle damages) some highlights simply disappeared  it's nothing impossible to fix though - it's a wip after all :D
I think silver elements lost some metallic "feel" because of the varnish
hope to finish the piece shortly so new pic will be presented - this time maybe with some background
Its cool I get it all the pieces I do are for gaming. If you don't mind me asking what varnish are you using? I noticed that the testors dull coat will take the shine off a mirror (and metals) where krylon and some others don't.
If it wasn't for the gutter my mind would be homeless.

well now I use vallejo varnishes which were included in vallejo paint set (gloss, matt and satin) but also use maimeri spray - I really like this spray :)

another model from me :D
this time it's nearly done spawn of demnogonis - it's only nearly done because I still miss some components to finish whole piece:
the photo needs background, model needs to be glued to the base (I painted it as one of my zombie-squad leaders so atm I can take it from this base and put into 25mm gaming base anytime blessed legionaires have to led into battle), and I thing some more purplish shadows here and there wouldn't hurt
I also have spend more time taking new photos - these ones seem to be a bit blurry...

Very cool, Demi. The only thing I can add is that the blister/ pox mark on his foot is pulling a lot of attention away from things that are better done like his face. I think its cause its got a strong red to it. Maybe use the same thing around his stitches?

I like the colors here. The idea with the shell is also something new.
Nice piece of work.
