I will we honest, this might be your worst miniature in this thread. Your other miniatures are painted to much higher standard, even those regular ones. They look painted much smoother. I especially don't like it's white face, the way it is painted.
But there is progress in this tale :)

Ouch! Didn't see that one coming hehehe, but hey, you're honest so it's appreciated :)
As for previous minis painted to much higher standard, I don't know, I treated this one same way, so dunno what happened. But you're right, there is progress in this tale and I intend to keep it like this :)

Thunderfire Canon done:

Little mark around the decal is the Micro Soil drying. Not visible anymore.

I'll do more and better pics when everything will be done.

Back to quality paint jobs 8) Are you planning on adding some dirt?

If I could come back to the topic of the previous guy - why didn't you paint his armour with air brush? He is almost black, so it should be easier to paint him then the librarian, or not?

Thanks :)
Don't think I'll add some dirt, perhpas in the tracks, but not sure, you do know that I'm not a big fan of those.

As for the previous guy, armour has been primed with Chaos Black and then airbrushed with P3 Thramar Black. I then highlighted with a zenithal of Fortress Grey which was darkened thanks to a wash of Badab Black. Rest has been done with brush. As for the face, it's sculpted that way (to look like a Salamander maw).
He received the same treatment than other minis, so dunno why he seems so crappy cause irl, the guy is okish.

If you take in consideration the fact that I really need to make better pics and ff you add to that that it's a really really old mini (~15 years) that ss in metal and cast isn't that awsome, then you can understand why it seems that paintjob is crap.

Thanks for replay :)
Dirt on track would be good, it would vary them from metallics on the gun.
