I actually prefer the old gold nmm as there was less mid tone and the light placements were much less toned down, plus for me the orange colour makes it look a bit strange.

yesterday i added some scorched brown to the shadows and a soft glaze of the same color to the middle and "orange" parts, in real the new gold nmm is much more eye catching, even my wife said it looked better.
I like the old style but since it just needs a Leviathan purple glaze and some white dottings i will wait and paint the rest, post new pictures and ask again.

that's damn striking paintjob!
I have to somehow force myself to paint such bright highlights too...

Panda, shouldn't you repaint this model? These highlights focus too much attention and steal it from the rest of the model.

Dont worry about that i managed to mess it up with the metal nmm , but the gold is much better now, but i must say its all CofC fault

ill try to put new pictures of the psyker and of... not "THE mini" but the panda sculpt

Here is the almost final thing, just deciding if i should do a golden stripe inside of the coat or not, advises?

don't do the stripe. the miniature is already so detail-packed that you don't need to add any extra! the contrasts add enough eyecandy to make it nice enough!

Looks good to me as is.
