I think the woodstained plinth adds alot character to the model great stuff demi

it's different now but I still regret I was so cautious not to overpaint the wood just to paint it now
oh well - it's a lesson for the future

No matter what it looks great, shit I'd like to make such bases for my minis.

I like it better with a dark plinth. even the snail is now not bothering me
cool mini, definitely in 'classic demi style'

so it's decided: the next swamp will be dark for sure but this time I'll paint the plinth before varnishing it

the latest news from pud thrower: it ended up as the gift for my parents' marriage anniversary;
sometimes I surprise myself how fecking cute I can be ^^
