gold nmm on the right 'arm' is not finished, right?
3 slits on the 'back' part could have their bottom edges highlighted.

Yep thats right, it's not quite finished i had to varnish that arm this weekend cos i kept accidently brushing off the paint so i might leave it till near the end then do it since it was annoying me.

Now the smoothing is difficult, because close to it there are painted gold elements
What a pity.
On such big models I lose concentration too.

i managed to smooth it out using some glazes and then reapplying some of the highlights, im working on the vent stacks then onto the main body i think. Here is a rubbishy pic for you to look at

I'm no NMM expert, but silver parts lack some final white highlight to me, especially on edges.

your silver is much less shiny than gold. I just love the colors of your gold NMM on those warm photos. they look evn better now
