ow you made your self a hurtther - camera set ISO to 1600 wich greatly decrise detail end contrast on photos (best quality = iso 100)
but from what i c it is realy good end smouth paited mini the part thats stands out is candy bar staff

i think you could do that better
Gold NMM is not perfect .. but well (who em i to judge

)
eny way - try to get new photos with Iso not higher then 200 (best iso 100)
base - i would use some foam to create a flora on it + dry pigments to "meld"
o end hairs - i know that this type of "pasta hairs" are bad to paint but you mey always glaze in some colors to it ot just go for total manga style end paint blicks on this
best parts are propably skin end cloaths
to work on : candy stick staff

end Photos in Good Iso seting
now you got 2 posiblity
live this mini end just gey it better photo end start new 1 or get on workshop the candy stick - decision is yours

@Maru, I may come back to work on the staff but the gold is as good as it's going to get on this model. I will have to try harder on the next one.
Can you explain more about the foam and pigments for the base please?

Ok the skin and cloth are really really well done and i like it a lot. I would agree with Maru about the gold nmm that some of it is lacking in contrast and has a bit too much base colour, this is more in particular with the buckle and the head piece. The hair is the weakest part of the model and i feel it was a little lacking for a really great model.

I completely agree with arctica. The cloth is great, especially the nmm gold embroidery. The armor could use some improvement. One suggestion I would make is with the edge highlighting - try to make some sharper highlights along edges. Right now your edge highlights are rather broad in places, which doesn't really reflect how corners of metal objects catch sunlight.

I really like this very strong contrast you have achieved on the skin or cloth

Sad news. Due to an unforeseeable conflict of timetables between Games Day and college, I will not be getting to golden demon this year.

My education is ever so slightly more valuable than making first cut at GD. Just wanted to let you know my witch (and my other, now unfinished, entry) won't be there on Sunday.
There will be other competitions, though, and I continue to need and appreciate your always helpful advice. Thank you, everybody.

Think the positive way - you already have an entry for next year!
