Re: 3rd Chest of Colors Mini Exchange
Thanks to all who already registered to our Miniature Exchange. Some of you are lurkers with 0 posts and we're glad this event encouraged you to become more active members of our little community. Perhaps you would also like to become more visible on our forum, so that the people who will be painting for you know who in fact they are painting for? This would surely be a nice thing!
What's more, this would make some people feel more secure that the addition of less active participants to this event doesn't increase the risk involved. You surely are aware that involvement of more people makes the exchange more fun, but on the other hand participation of inactive and unknown members of our forum means that some people may feel less secure about receiving a miniature. Why not make these people feel more comfortable? Step out from your hideouts, say hi, tell us something about yourselves, post some pictures of your miniatures. Make us know who is participating in our Miniature Exchange!
Thanks a lot for your understanding. Enjoy the exchange!

Re: 3rd Chest of Colors Mini Exchange
Next year guys, my painting skills are still too poor; but based on my progress next year. Maybe, just maybe someone will get a Pulp-era figure from me..... just maybe... no promises.

Nameless, I understand it is gift exchange but my skills not good enough yet. Next year maybe... if I have the time. But I am planning on next year.

Barton I really hope you can be persuaded other wise. I can just say its fun with more people and always makes for a new surprise that challenges us all to pull out our best. So I hope you change your mind and join us all that are doing it.
If it wasn't for the gutter my mind would be homeless.

Definately reconsider Barton, the whole event is something for fun. It's not about how well you paint or sculpt etc. It's more about painting something for fun and enjoying it and then giving that to someone else to share. You can always paint something crazy and funny !
