Something I have been working on recently - Ariel wood elf mage queen. Some wip photos I`ve put in polish section.

This is the biggest mini I`ve painted so far. Few thing I`ve learned. It`s not my miniature, I was asked by a friend to paint it for him simialar to GW one.

oh man, not only they made a terrible miniature but also created this paintjob...

and you say your friend asked to have his own painted this way? oh my....
although theirs is smoother and probably technically better, your version is bolder with contrasts and has details picked out with highlighting.
no, it won't be my favorite paintjob from you, but you worked within very limiting guidelines. blame your friend ;)

but I must say some parts still look unfinished. but the mini is finished, right? you're moving on?

Nice, I think his beer is a little too yellow but the axe is very nice and I really his beard :D

well, that's a beer in a glass, with a strong light behind it ;) you have it in a metal helmet...
NMM - did anyone say "more contrast" already? ;)
