@LadyEyes - which pose? the one of the "brushing her hair with her fingers" girl? or the one I liked more - the more realistic mech pilot from Cyril?

I am really interested in your opinions. I know that it may be different as you are a girlie but this makes it even more interesting.

eg. my and Ana's opinions on some mini-babes differ

Ok, two requests, I'll rant (a little)...

I am talking about the miniature in this thread. (Sorry, don't know the other figure.)

I can see most of what I'm bothered by in the first set of pictures, but the second set doesn't improve much other than the paint job.

Ok, let's start with the fact that she looks knock-kneed. Not attractive. Sort of looks like she needs to find a toilet.

Then there's the fact that her butt is poked out and her boobs are poked out. Face it, she stands like a stripper that has been wearing really high heeled shoes for much too long and has, as a result, a spine curvature that is no longer normal. Normal women do not stand like this! Promise. Only models and women who are used to posing with their assets as the main attraction stand like this. (Yes, I've known/seen many strippers of various quality and know how they stand.)

Then there's her torso to leg-length ratio. I see this is female miniatures all the time. (ALL!) Most women don't have legs 1.5 to 2 times the length of their torso. Its difficult to tell with her because of the ridiculous curved-spine pose, but if you straightened her out I think her legs would be unnaturally long compared to her torso.

Then there's the suit. This suit is silly. The last thing I would want when piloting a mech would be for my boobs to be hanging out any which way and bouncing around all over the place. And she's well endowed, so they would definitely be BOUNCING. I'm chesty, and so I can attest that this would be uncomfortable at best and more likely just painful. There's a reason exercising women wear sports bras that restrict chest movement. And the way they look it doesn't even look all that attractive to me. It just looks silly the way its showing her chest.

I know, I know... She was probably designed specifically to be appealing to men. And most of the people who have seen some of my paintjobs should know I have nothing whatsoever against naked women. But she just strikes me as so unnatural and silly in how she's posed, proportioned, and clothed that she isn't even attractive.

Personally, I ran a female mech pilot character years ago, and she wouldn't have been caught dead looking like this.

Ok, sorry if that was too harsh, but its honestly what I thought every time I've looked at this pictures.

To everyone his own I guess. But your explanation is interesting and honest and I respect your view!

I think I remember from somewhere that Cyril has a Japanese wife, maybe he's influenced by Japanese Manga. That will explain a lot as those characters are known to be uhm...out of shape!

Ok, THAT mech pilot I like much better. She doesn't strike me as silly and odd. (Is she available for purchase somewhere?)

I believe she is available through the Cmon shop...

And I have to agree with you - The miniature isn't too "mech pilot" looking for me. She is like a cyberpunk/SF stripper-wannabe. Who would like to pilot a mech dressed like this? The pose isn't too natural for me, as well as it isn't too attractive/sexy... And maybe I'm simply not into manga enough? I was never too fond of it...

I mentioned the one posted here by Skrit one or two posts ago... This one I like This one iw (was?) availabe from the CMON store and I own one.... Together with Cyril's paintjob this is one pretty mini!

And as for the way the mange one is dressed (yep, I mean the chest) - it's something like Rackham's fiannas. They also wear these 'upside-down bras' which I never liked, but.. nobody asked me
