Lets see
Rackham Minis ......... GW MINIS
Great sculpt ......... great fluff
lots of small details ......... biggerized parts (big weapon etc)
wonder of sculpting ......... wonder of marketing
funky looking shape ......... "normal" shapes
no long tradition ......... long tradition
Japanese bikes ......... Harley
Great technology ......... great fluff
lots of small details ......... biggerized parts
wonder of engineering ......... wonder of marketing
funky looking shape ......... "normal" shapes
no long tradition ......... long tradition
As you see GW producing "Harleys", not so funky or great like those hiper duper "japanese bike" wonders produce by Rackham but still it is more love and tradition in their products.
I do not want to buy a pretty mini, I want to buy a mini that tell me some story...

well we can always create comparative points that most fits our preferences all day long
You forget the most important one (in my opinion)...
Rackham and harley are more arty than GW and JAPbikes
the aberration prime fella will cost 25 euros.

for the amount of options these sprues deliver and sheer size of miniature it seems fair price to me.
Lets see the 5 or more heads alone the extra arms... with a bit of sculpting these sprues can deliver lots of pleasure

First is true
The second is your opinion...

I think that discussion starts to make no sense. You can forever argue about Harley and Kawasaki. They both have advantages and disadvantages, so does the Aberration Prime. It's the question of taste, who likes what.

trying...to dodge...the discussion about tastes...
almost made it
I'm not familiar with confrontation rules and I found this pic:
is this the new, larger version of the same model?

They look identical, apart from size of course.

i think that pic is a bit exagerated but yes.
Currently there are 2 diferent aberrations (rules and modelwise) on confrontation and new one is the 3rd big brother also diferent rule wise and modelwise.
each mini on conf has a little card with individual profile

thanks for clarification. If rules are different, I have no problems with sizes. My first thought was: same rules, such difference?!
I start to dislike way manufacturers behave - regarding size of models. Every company has to make the biggest something. I know, that big models are impressive, however it will soon be hard to call them models. It's hard to call them minis already.
Table-top games will soon die, replaced by field games. Or parking lot games. Gamers will hire trucks to play a battle at somebody's place.
I just hope, that the scale 1:1 is the limit. If models are bigger than originals - I'm out of here.
Sorry for OT. Mods, feel free to delete or move this post.
