Unique? I fell like i saw a hundred times those molded pieces of green stuff? You didn't even remove the mold line on the hammer, and the completion is quite bad, i have a different vision of the word creation.

Thanks Ciril i agree with You, only figures with removed mold line can be uniqe. Ciril I may give You 10 points for Your best jealousy frustration Your pose is pitiful .
Sorry I'm with Cyril here... Do I need to explain that?
I am with Cyril about the quality remark, no doubt. however...if people are buying the stuff, let them...why do some have to bother with other people so much? do your own stuff and leave everyone else alone <- that's not only refering to the above postet coment by Cyril btw. which on it's own is perfectly fine but rather to the general attitude of some people's posts, mails (I had some funny mails in the past...), forums, etc.
disclaimer: this is just my personal experience, I am not trying to miscredit anyone...

I wasn't talking about any particular person but generally about the tendency to deny his creativity. I think he is creative, even if not tidy enough.... Well, if he likes to consider not trimmed minis finished, we don't have to like it. But the choice of his tools or methods doesn't need to be criticised all the time. Especially that there are many people who still admire his conversions - regardless of their quality.
OTOH Scibor's answer wasn't the most polite. Ok, it wasn't polite at all.
I haven't seen this thing before and it puts him in 'a bit different' light.
I know, but I think most was said already and it's kind op pointless to bring it all up again! Imho just let it rest... But I'll leave you all to it if you want to. I'll butt out!
This whole thing gets a very interesting direction.
Wismer Hill says, that the prices are too high, as you can get the same stuff from GW. Well, I don't think so and I can't imagein Scibor forcing people to buy his stuff.
Hm, Cyrils Comment is a different one. Imvao, it shows mainly his dislike for Scibors work. He says that the completion is bad, which I can't support. Yes, there's a mold line on the hammer which shouldn't be. But the GS Stuff parts are great, the pose and all that fits together.
It all comes down to his dislike for the molds imvao. And that just isn't okay.
Scibors comment on the mold line is just bad, it makes him appear as if he thought his work on the mini, which is undoubtably great, would make such criticism inacceptable. The rest of the comment seems more like som venting of steam gathered over the time. There wer some nasty comments on Scibor, and there is no reason why he shouldn't be allowed to answer in the same way. If this is the right way, I don't think so.
Im happy that we explain this. Cyril is more than OK in my book. He give a community more than almost anybody. He give lots of usefoul tutorials and always try to be helpfull. The other side hmmm... You know, he do not have a time for this.
I AGREE THAT some of the French guys were rude, but no reason to vendetta against people like Cyril.
Trovarion Im sorry to hear about your sad experiences. You should tread that as compliement, its because you are a Premier League of Painting player. So the opposite fans (painting hooligans) do not like you... But we should try to be a fair sport Im very courious abot that funny emails Trov. Examples?
thats the problem for me in this whole thing. It was Cyril who was behaving like a stupid kid here all the time, in comments on coolmini and on french forums. It's him that wastes his time commenting on coolmini, and he always says the same : it's not good, I see moldline, greenstuff is crap, etc. and whether you like it or not, giving 5's is just immature behaviour. He's still a great painter but obviously just a small minded person.
