WAR MOLE!!!! That is actually a great idea!

Yep I am really loving the polyclay. I will NEVER touch putty gain! I liek it so much better that i am severely tempted to resculpt all of my favorite pieces in polyclay. I actually AM resculptign the Bolverk model in polyclay.... Though this is actually more of a level up kind of resculpt and not a strict resculpt of the same design.

In the time it would normally take me to sculpt 1 or 2 figures I have sculpted from start to finish; four goblin bonebacks, 1 goblin witch, the mounted warlord ( almost ) and now three archers. Next up are four runty footmen and a footman, an archer, and a boneback for a direct exclusive LE vignette piece. I had considered sculptign a CD sized display base to fit the entire horde btu I would not knwo how to price it. ANy suggestions??

Well I don't know how detailed such a base would be (it's supplied without the miniatures right?), but I wouldn't pay more than 25-30 USD for such a base.

It will probably contain quite a lot of resin, so I guess you should be thinking of a higher price?

Thanks Corvus, that is about what I expected really. Mayeb I can make it work, maybe not..... I guess the only way to find out is to get one sculpted and cast?

Glad the speed is up but PLEASE make sure you're not just pumping stuff out fast 'cause you can. I'd hate to see the quality slip!

resin base... how about as a freebie for ordering the whole clan? No? I tried.

I'd like to see your take on some smaller scenic style bases meant for game play, or smaller indivdual plinth sized toppers for display and such. Just a thought. Keep it up!

Not to worry Scott, there will be no sacrifice of quality for the sake of speed. teh goblisn are just very small and very un complex. That is a recipe for speed, both in sculpting and in painting as well....... I hope.

OK the new releases are now shipping, and if you want to get some of the first run of Svjann and Madlenka you had better order soon because they are GOING FAST!!.... Not that I cannto restock within a week or so but still... BUY NOW BUY NOW BUY NOW!!!

Bad news...... Svjanostroir did not cast well so it is not yet availible. HOWEVER I anticipated this and have already had a second mould of that figure made. Those castings should arrive round about late next week.

Again I apologize for the delay and I assure you that this will be the last time this happens. No more pre-orders. from here on out I will only take orders on figures in hand.

All orders are shipping today sans Svjanostroir. As soon as I take reciept of the corrected castings I will ship them out at no additional cost.

Thanks for your patience.

 Not to worry. I have really decided it is time to really up my game and try my best to fill the gap left by the decline of Rackham. Probably no treally possible, but going to do my level best to try. I am REALLY wantign to take Red Box Games to the next level. Ever since coming to grips with the polyclay and beign so inspried by Studio Mcvey's most recent releases, I think ti is time, and I have the ability, to really up my game. I want to do for gamers what Studio McVey is doign for painter / colllectors. And that means providing the highest level of quality in traditional fantasy gaming figures. i think I will probably be doign a lot more on the design end of the production process than I have been to date.

Workign with Polyclay ( Cernit to be specific ) has REALLY opened up a lot of possibilites that I simply did not have access to with putty. Now I feel like I can truly capture the images in my head, and also work more ' in the moment" which is a HUGE benefit!

Now I just need to sort out some help with painting. Primarily finding someone whose style is appropriate to what I am looking for as the " face " of the imagery. Also some design help. Again, more a style issue than anythign else. )
