This mini is rly very nice in terms of sculpt and painting as usual perfect except one place witch I wanna ask for, base of stomach, the skin shade on stomach - everything is ok there? On picture I can't see what?s going on there :)
But overall as I sad before - awesome!!! :D

larger pics - most of them are already much 'heavier' than I like to accept for WWW purposes. might post some if you want, but I don't want to load such heavy pics to the galleries (because of server load, bandwidth, etc.). moreover you don't want to exceed 600 pixels horizontally because of CMON limits.

stomach - was already discussed elsewhere, the sculpt was not very good there, and the mini was already primed by its owner, so Ana didn't want to resculpt it. She admitted it's worse than the rest of the paintjob.

Thanks WiliamWolfes for such a nice opinion :D
I am curious what you think about this regiment.
I will not add my own opinion because I see from PL forum that it is not a good idea ;)
I am just fed up with this work and it is not look like the picture from my imagination - which makes me sead.

I think the quality of the paint job is fantastic as always. The one model on the left most side (if they are facing us) arm seems flat in the picture but I think its the black and the lighting. I wish I could do as good free hand on the banner as I really want to build an empire army with a similar idea. The unit though feels very jumbled though with everyone doing some thing and looking in different directions. Sort of brings the momentum of things to a stand still. I think the let down your feeling is in the posing not in the paint work.

Very good job Anna.

Wow :) im impressed with this little piece, the banner really makes it the whole piece jump out. Your reds and black go so well together and your nmm is top notch. I really like your base you've done for the scene it's really nice, did you use putty for all of it? The monkey is a really nice addition too ;).

I really love their faces they all really stand out too, it reminds me of Da Vinci's ugly men drawing where their faces are so unique they stand out. Great work Ana :) simply inspiring.

You might not be satisfied with them but I think they are simply stunning. Fantastic use of colour, nmm is top notch as Arctica said, sweet base. Pure beauty.

Any construction shots you have of the base would be greatly appreciated, yet again I can find no fault in your work Ana, top notch!
Getting back into the thick (or rather thin as in thinning my paints) of it, not picked up a brush in some time so this may hurt a bit until I get used to the feel of them again

In short:
+: the base, the composition, the color scheme (thank you they are not pastel!)
Technically perfect as usual, but we got used to that already.
-: The skull on the top of the banner. I've seen much better skulls from much less skillful painters.

Thank you for sharing this work with us.
