miniatures and especially golden demons will never be "art". everyone who has the urge to lable it as that is looking to give it a meaning it doesnt have and will never have. it's a hobby and for some it's a job. but most people i know (in person) who consider what they do "art" gotten over their head and look down on others, without a solid ground behind it (they're still only doing toy soldiers...)

Nameless had a good point with his Playboy comparison.

just like many erotic pics are put in a certain 'setting' - the subject is dressed as a pirate, a waitress, a nurse, etc. - and nudity often makes little sense in the setting. but I think it's acceptable for the genre. and probably Kabuki (and some other manufacturers) play with this genre and this cliche.

Kabuki model's range is called "21st Century Pinups", so I think this name completely justifies the out-of-context nudity.

I kind of like it. Despite the hidden elephant trunk between her legs...

Again, disturbing and nothing for me.

and I think I like it. the trunk is not necessary there, but I don't really mind...

For me its a nice miniature, but with some flaws.

The hands are bad sculpted and way to visible
Why the elephant nose?

The rest seems cool and fresh
