Re: Corvus' Showcase
"Toxic Spring"
Figure was available exclusively to participants of the Painting Crusade IX painting competition.
Pretty quick job (4-5 sessions of 1 hour), more a study in zenithal lighting, contrast, etc
Not the kind of figure I would normally paint, but it was fun to do and the final result looks pretty in the cabinet. But it proofs that large surfaces still need some practice

Wow man! I love it. Great work witrh the stream and the flower. I still find my focus on the mini, which I like, then I get to take in the scene. Well done. I know you said it's an exclusive mini, any chance you know where I can get one from someone who attended?

Re: Corvus' Showcase
Thank you for the comment!
I will ask the organizer of the event if there are any left over and if they are for sale or not. Casting quality wasn't the best (lots of bubbles) but it's done by a hobbyist and I only paid 3 euro for it

Simply great. Not only it is painted nicelly, but it also tells a story! Of course the base could be better/bigger and show more of thic toxic world, but maybe then it would steal the focus? My favourite of your works

I really like that one, great work and excellent idea with the base/setting.
