I was thinking it doesn't look all that bad but now I see you've let him swim in acid already I won't comment! :P

After failed attempt to paint scibor's dwarf, I tried to paint my older W.I.P. figure - Gabriel Knight (originally Steampunk Sorcerror from Wyrd). I started with some basecoating (his big leather coat and blue jeans) and then I worked on green OSL effect on the coat. Tomorrow I would like to continue working on leather/unhighlighted part of coat, which is now untouched.

I really like the little bit of fade effect in the jeans.

Another progress on Gabriel - face and hair. Plus little shine on base, which is only experiment I have to play with. If wrong, I can paint black coat over it anytime. Next step is to finish hands and bag with freehand...

The shadow on the round base is too abrupt IMHO. I know the shadow will be cast like this, but I think it will look nicer if it's a bit more subtle.

nice work so far, i agree with the light on the base, altho technically correct in some respects i think even slight colour would help. Also a darker background will give much more emphasis on the emphasis of the OSL for your photos.

the problem exists only on the side of the base. the terrain looks fine, but would benefit from darker shadows to make the OSL more obvious

I know, the light on base is wrong (it was just a try, it's my first time working with OSL). I know it since I made the photos and I was thinking about better way of making the effect. I will try to do it better later. Now I will pay attention on freehand job on the bag. Thanx for your feedback, I really appreciate it...
