Thanx

I was painting all golden and silver parts following images from Scibors web. Didn't think about how it should be, just trying to learn about his style of painting. I love the contrast between light and shadow and the comixy colours. I have to learn more

good job

I think that in the end - the beard doesn`t look so similar to the armour.

agreed
the only thing I'd like to comment on is the symbol on his shoulder pad, it lacks some darklining with the shoulder pad itself, the borders aren't well defined

Congratulations on winning the gold medal at "Herzog von Bayern"
I don't know why did you compete with standard painters

Thank you. And why I was in Standard? Because it was my first foreign/international competition. And I wasn't really sure, if I could even compete in Standard on such event as Herzog von Bayern.

After little painting break this small bust was fun to paint. I've tried to paint it in comics / cartoon style. Nasty and colorfull result, innit?
And as always - any comments, ideas or critics are welcome...

The face and the cigarette are great - best parts of the bust. Yellow and blue elements are strong fokal points - personally don't like them as fokal points. And don't really like the hut. It has so strange holes. It's not like a hut at all.
All in all, sculpt has a nice concept, nice idea but sculpting skills are not good enought and so - there are many bad elements: like hut texture, stone like cheeks. Very nice paintjob, especially lower parts of the face; lips, I love redish midtones. Looking forward for your next project

Another project is finished - Horthak The Jade Snake. Really great sculpt from Freeman was real pleasure to paint. I think this is my best skintone and face paint (and so I will try to achieve even better result next time

Yes! Better then on the Wip shots.
I like it a lot! But the base is not so good. Everything in the same colour.
But the mini, skin, cloth and snake are great!
