Without background looks nicer - nothing distracts so much, and therefore the shadow makes a perspective for viewing mini...
But about minis in all:
Templar
Good job overall. The dirst on the cape is very realistic. I like all the wood stuff all around, but the ground look too artificial for me. For me it could me more muddy and darker (the dirt must came from somewhere, right?). Clothes and metallic parts looks nice, but one thing (or two) are lowering my rate - the freehanded crosses. They are blurry, not symetrical, and badly placed... Sorry, but besides that everythig look great!
Goblin Chariot
I love the wood. It`s realistic, and fit well there. Personally I would add more tints to the wolves fur, now they are a bit boring, and too snowy for this green base. Goblins are executed in a good way, but on the other hand the standard doesn`t fit into my vision of greenskins war colors. Maybe the conotation with polish aircraft red pattern-check is too strong for me?
All in all you are making great improvements and I`m happy to see your works in next year!
cheers,
Sz.
