ok, high time for a some close up pic!

I've been working pretty long tome on this project - most problems were caused by handling with artifical water...
but here it is - I learnt a lot by wotking with such amount of resin on single base;
the model was based on picture in
escalation rulebook; I wanted to make it old, used and weathered but when I look on the pic I think I might've overdone the rust

as for the base it's not the accident or my forgetfulness - I slightly peeled finished base to show wood structure and make it used so it correspond with used helljack and inscription;
hope you like it

PS. I'm pretty sure now I'll do sth with that rust...

Perfect!
Really cool as your last warjack.
What did you use in making water?

it's andrea's artifical water - it's just transparent resin

Wow...Demi...you are the best in rusted models and all here has meaning.

fantastic, love almost every inch of it

what I don't like here is not the excess of rust (it's obviously justified in such environment), but something I'd call 'lack of details'. I think it would look much better if you highlighted edges, and painted deeper shadows creating some sort of darklining by these edges.
lovely base!

woo looks great demi, i think the water effects are really well done plus it gives the model extra strength. Makes me tempted to try something similar on my cryx warjacks.

cheers guys!

I agree that the problem with rust is it takes all details away... I think I'll paint more shadows on rusty parts to separate them... I also thinking about replacing the background with sth brighter a bit - imo at this stage background malts too much with the model

Well, I like it

I think the rust is perfect, very realistic, you shouln't change it IMO. Great idea with that water, but the sides of the water surface aren't clear and transparent enough. Besides that, it is very good work my friend.
