Played vs Skorne today and i lost the game by overexposing my warcaster and got assassinated. :/ well it was a lesson learnt, plus it was my first time using this warcaster, so i kinda know some of her limits now.

lesson learnt:
skornes are cheaters
have you already seen morghoul combo?
I mean - warlock killing WHOLE unit no matter how big in a single round? bare claws?
stay away from them, just shoot!!!

Molik Karn is the worst for me, as Demi said, Skornes are easy way, no matter what you play against them, they'll always pop a solo or a caster that'll destroy a single unit no matter how big it is in a single round, so don't hope to have a caster that'll resist an attack like that ^^

I've not seen the morghoul combo yet demi :/ sounds scary, it's only been the second time i've faced skorne and they seem to have amazing rules.

I played again last night, i was helping a guy get to grips with the rules and rather enjoyed playing against khador, was interesting his warcaster beat up my defender and then my warcaster.

Then i continued playing in the league we have running here, it was an intense and long game against menoth player. In the whole game i managed to shoot his monk and force him to make tough rolls 7 times ! and he still held up my whole force. Luckily i managed to destroy his warjacks and then beat his warcaster to death. But it was so funny watching his monk survive everything, i did eventually manage to kill it with a lucky hit from my defender in melee.... i do hate tough models.

Played against Cryx today and it was such an intense game, I am totally scared of the Deathjack. That thing ate my hammersmith for breakfast, i was just really really lucky to take out his warcaster with my pimped out hunter or else i would have lost the whole battle. Such a fun and close game, his harrower was eating through my units as well and sitting on huge amounts of focus each turn these higher point games are certainly getting much much tougher.

I told you already to take these nasty jacks with armour piercing, didn't I?

i only have 1 model with armour piercing :/ maybe i need a 2nd hunter.
