IMO the toad and leaves have too similar colour. Also, I believe there are snail shells among leaves, and you have painted them as leaves.

Nope, there isn't any snail shells, those twirling things there are parts of ferns, so the colour is right :)

LOVE IS THE ANSWER :)))) Look at the back of base - that things are coming ind the middle of fern leaves :)

if you want it to be a leaf, I don't have a problem with that. It's your mini and your choice :)but, in that case I'd paint it with browns to make it look like a dry leaf. just to introduce some colour variety

After two days of painting (maybe 'trying' is better word) I saw that this is not the right way. I lost all the inspiration for this mini and throw it to acid... :( Just one last photo

Hehehehe guys, I still have enough of blue paint (bought some new from Vallejo and Rackham), just wanted to rest from all those blue tones. This mini is already swimming in acid paint-remover and then I have to start again. But maybe few weeks later, right now I won't be able to work on him - no inspiration at all. But calm down, I will use green-brown-orange palette on him, to match already finished base.
