Actually, I've only painted one miniature between Iron Painter 5 and Iron Painter 6.

Whoops- that's not quite true. I did paint (most of a) Blood Bowl team in there. But it's nothing to brag about, as I forced myself to only spend one hour per miniature, so I would be done before the season started. I didn't quite finish the Big Guy, though.

 Er... And the CMON Celia contest. But it turned out really bad. I forgot about the contest, and tried to do it all in one day. It's not so good.

So, I guess I did a few in between, but nothing really showy. I will try to get around to posting some pics later after I get out of class.

results have been posted... if you don't want your surprise to be ruined, go to Wyrd now, 'cause I will post them below :)

:banghead:
Iron Painter wrote:jmess 60 vs Paintingploddy 71.5

Beelzebrush 89 vs. Elly3438 DNF
Moavoamoatu 84.5 vs. Peterdita 80
Skya 80.5 vs Thryth 72
Darklord 82.5 vs. Wren 73
Nameless 80 vs Bexley 88
A Luna 71.5 vs. Neolis 78.5
Dollface 83 vs. Jubilee 79.5
Springbok 74.5 vs R2-J1 76
Sculpta the Squig 77 vs. LavronYor 72.5
CommanderY 79.5 vs Bren 82
IvanDBA 66 vs. Paintminion 71.5

I'll have a more detailed scoring breakdown to follow.

Couple of quick notes:

Again, we have an odd number of matchups, so the "HEY GIMME ANOTHER CHANCE" rule is in play. The way it looks right now Peterdita (80) is tied with Nameless (80) for the right to continue!!
OK, so I lost with Bexley, no surprise at all... yet I still have a chance to advance as I am one of loser with highest scoring...

PETERDITA will advance......His THEME score was higher than Nameless.
:banghead:

so close...
congrats Sue, Noel, Bren, Neolis, Bexley! Fight in the name of CoC ;)

I'm going to look for some good news now...

Losing to one of the best counts as a moral victory ;)

Nameless the luck of the draw, luck of the draw. If we had gotten paired up you would have been sititng on a nice lead and I would have been sitting on the sidelines. Now pray I dodge the rest of our CoC people.
If it wasn't for the gutter my mind would be homeless.

Unlucky Nameless :boohoo:, to lose by such a small margin is no small feat in itself... Look at it this way, you made it to the second round AND you were just pipped at the post for round 3 by a nats nadger of a score :lolsign:

Well done for getting that far!
Getting back into the thick (or rather thin as in thinning my paints) of it, not picked up a brush in some time so this may hurt a bit until I get used to the feel of them again

hey, I'm actually pretty satisfied with this round. I knew from the beginning I don't really stand a chance against Bexley, I'm far from the contest winning level. But, I improved my scoring from the first round by 7 points (counting 3 main judges votes only, as there were 2 guest judges this round), my total scoring is better than scoring achieved by few well known painters (Commander Y being the prime example), considering scoring I finished 8th (26 people in this round). Not bad at all.
And I painted Infinity minis at last, and I have my first dio...

IP was fun, and I have 4 minis painted thanks to it :) C-ya next year, I'm keeping my fingers crossed for all CoC members still in tthe contest :)
