I think the Imperial Armour books suggest that engines are in the sides where tracks are attached.

I quite like the changeling, but many of these models are a bit boring. I can't see much difference between the standard juggernaut and the bloodcrusher...

Maybe the re-releases are plastics? i kinda like some of them, but others not so much :) bit of a mixed bag
