I also like that thrower a lot but as mahon wrote that's not mine work but "official" paintjob :)
that model is the one I wanna paint next from DA range

I used some powdered chalk but under it there were many layers of drybrush: base color was terracotta, the final highlight - bleached bone

and another one is finally finished - I couldn't use unpainted model for gaming :?
this time it's deneghra's most fav pet: nightmare (unique helljack)
I followed advices from wip thread and highlighted armout a bit (not too much though, I wanted to keep it rather battleworn), added some oxidation and glowy runes so enemy from the distance 2km can shoot it in the night...

Looks like green runes was the best choice! :)

It's a very nice fig Demi, but I think you should highlight that exhaust a bit. I know it's supposed to be covered in soot or something, but it doesn't really look painted in some pictures.

Overall a very good tabletop fig! :)

good idea - I might paint some battledamage (chipped paint?) in exhaust area - just to break the monotony; I want to keep it's current "oily" look;
besides I've just noticed some things to correct :think:

decent tabletop quality. the green parts add a little eyecatching effect to the model but the flat exhaust pipe and grey surfaces are so boring...

surely enough to call it a decent tabletop quality paintjob though!

another toy from zombie-workshop :)
the model was actually painted some time ago but last weekend I finally managed to finish the base - it's my first base with artificial water used (that's why it doesn't look at nice as I hoped :?);
the model is the first piece from the huge warzone order which Deco and I tool about december; imo it's one of the best models sculpted for warzone ever! I hope to use it for gaming as well so the model hasn't been glued to the base and that means I can take pic of base from above to show what is in the water - not mentioning the shell;

yesterday I finished another base which will be sunk as soon as I finish the model for it - to be hones I can't wait to challenge andrea water once again!
