That tiny dude looks great! very funny

The base is also nice.
The ork is for gaming purposes? It is very glossy!

love the last two. the orc shows how much improvement you made in painting skin and placement of highlights.
the other guy must be really small so the photo is a bit misleading as it suggests much bigger size. still I think the scratches are not convincing enough for me.

Thanks guys!
Mahon - Agreed about the scratches. These are the first time I've ever tried them. So far the tip I got involving them is to try and vary the white line underneath so it's lighter in the uhm... lighter parts fo the mini and shade it so it's darker in the shaded parts of the mini. I'll try that for sure. Any other tips by chance?
Really appreciate the compliments on the mini's guys. I am having so much FUN working on my painting right now!

I love the little model

very cute, what range is it from?
I do agree with you guys with the scratches, i think rather than using pure white as the highlight areas of the scratch you should just use the base colour with an addition of white and only put white on the very edges of some of the scratches, i think that might help a bit more. I would also put a slightly lighther brown/rust colour as a minor highlight on the patches where the paint has peeled as they look a tad flat atm. But as you say it's such a tiny model its difficult to get the detail down but i think it might make a bit more of an impact. Great stuff mate

I like this little ball with the middle finger, it is very evily cute.
1) If the gears have rust, the scratches on the little ball should have or probably might have rust too.
2) The green grasses are fine, but I will use yellow grass instead to make a contrast to the ball's green.
3) There are already highlighting and shading on the ball robot to reflect the light source, but seems to me that it could be added a bit more contrast to reflect the light.

Those are good tips guys, thanks very much!
Arctica, the mini is from "Studio Junger" and it comes in a two pack with another little dude.

Not a bad piece at all dude, the whole monotonous tone gives a nice atmosphere and i like the dusty and unclean feel about the model. However for me i'd like to have seen sharper and more crisp contrasts on his skin tones especially around the face as to me that should be his focal point.
