Technically the direct complementary color to that purple would probably be a dark green, but that probably wouldn't look very good. Thinking something bright regardless of the color you choose. How about the same golden colors used on the rope hanging from his back and knots with a small chapter symbol?Pandadosmares wrote:I was thinking some stripes or knots but dont really know if it works well with the colors

Gold or silver NMM should also work fine.
Re: Pandadosmares WIP's
second mahon a purple and gold would look very cool.

Go with a gold and i think sometimes the most simple of patterns gives the best effects. Depends how adventurous and confident you are on the freehand. With such a large surface i'd be tempted to do something a bit more complicated.

not bad, not bad! clean, well defined.
some more contrast would be welcome though, freehands look bit flat. pattern on the back seems to be too big.
way better than my freehand attempts made so far.

I like it, nice and clean, very tidy. Agreed with Phil with the contrast and the sizing, contrast is easy enough to correct i think, but the sizing is bit more of an issue. Still very good job.

Re: Pandadosmares WIP's
Really cool, but the bottom of the back looks dull now. Is it by purpose?

The back icon looks on the large size but god bless you that is braver free hand then any thing I've ever done.
