Tada another one done !, Herman Toothrot a heavy for the pirate crew :D Im happy with how he turned out i think he has alot of character and i have to admit the plastics are alot easier to paint for me than metal models. Plus im particularly happy with the NMM on the gun on this one, i was trying out using more brown in my mix and it came out very dark but looks pretty darn good. Anywho, think i will do meathook next, i've already actually started the base as you can see from the group shot, updates this weekend.

I think second ironclad looks best (maybe too fantasy )
I can only suggest one thing - make them a nice display base :-)

I was talking to Nameless, Demi and Panda about a display base. Possibly using parts from an ork stompa or battlewagon as a basis and parts then almost scratchbuild the rest. I think i might try that and possibly make it a nice scenic base in that respect.

I managed to paint quite a bit this weekend, im happy with this so far, meathook is the crew mekanik, i will probably end up rusting alot of his armour and bits & parts to give a bit more colour variation and make the model a tad more interesting, but so far im really enjoying this one aswell.

The idea for display base is really good :-)
Maybe add some parts or tools to Meathook`s base to make him look more like a mechanic?
