while it looks very cool on the artwork, on the sculpt the tail looks a bit thin and weak. of course it can be explained easily as it's not a real creature, but I think it looks a bit wrong to me.
probably it's the perspective used on the drawing, that makes it look more right. but I think that a thicker tail would look better on the sculpt.
to me it looks a bit like a conversion of 2 miniatures: one bigger (the top) and one smaller (the bottom)
I like the details on the upper part, so it's a pity about the tail...

Fear not heres some changes.
Changes:

Like the tail but just think it could be one segment longer. Do like the newer version a lot better.
Still want the dancing bug though

Currently painting 15mm's with an extremely large brush - one step away from dipping them in the pot.
Re: Bugs and sculpts for all
I like the model much more now. probably not a thing I'd buy and paint, but still a nice one.

The spiders do grow big in Otherworld Miniatures... The little running fella managed to escape last months 2 big spiders and found a nice, hairy, cozy, warm spot to rest... little did he know
The Gigantic Tarantula legs are not glued just atached for the pic, once glued the main body will be above the ground but for now you get the overall idea of how this 17cm wide cute bug looks like.
