Ok, two issues with the succubus...
First, who decided she needed a Fianna's sword?
Second, what is it about women standing on their tip-toes that excites guys? She's not even in really cheesy high-heeled shoes. She's STANDING ON THE FRONT TIPS OF HER CLOVEN HOOVES! How silly! Its just goofy looking to me.
Its a shame, because I like parts of her but parts are just silly to me.

I think I still like the succubus more than Long John, but maybe it's because of the paintjob. The sculpt doesn't look clean enough to me, and I've seen way better Freeboter miniatures. OTOH the concept art wasn't too great too, so the mini is better than that.
as for the way the succubus is standing - well, I dunno. Maybe she was a ballerina?
I am not too excited about this mini, too. But she is the better from the two.
BTW fianna's sword would look like a dagger next to this cleaver

I think it's on the tips of the hooves for an "harmonic" reason: in this way it's easier to mantain the lightness of the leg, the line from its knee to the foot is straight. making the hoove placed right on the floor it would break this line, increasing the difficulty of mantaining the right proportions without giving the look of two solid blocks at feet.
