Re: Hellspawn's little men
Finished version of one of the wolves. Pics of the full unit once they'll all be done.

Looking good. Flesh wounds look great with that shiny fresh "feel", seems like the skin has just been ripped off.

I don't know... paintjob looks quite flat, but this is army piece, so maybe it will look ok when you have the whole unit lined up. we'll see about that
grey skin is tad too similar to grey base.

I've got to agree with Phil on this. Dirty his skin up with some brown/green-ish washes to break up the flat areas.

Re: Hellspawn's little men
don't be worried Julien!
1. it's your army - you know how much time/effort you want to spend on it.
2. they will look better in a group, I'm sure of it.
so, finish the unit to this quality and see if it looks good for you. if yes - nothing else matters

Re: Hellspawn's little men
It'll look good on the table as is, but the suggestion of adding in some diluted washes of other colours onto the skin is a good one. I also think some brown washed into the gray of the base might work as well.
Re: Hellspawn's little men
this is going to be a cool looking army when your finished, as for dirting itup a bit you could always use some pastel powder to put some dust on its legs and base to give it that not so new look
more pictures here plus the votes wouldn't hurt

Re: Hellspawn's little men
I think the red lacks contrast, it should be darker overall. Like you did on the cloth of the HQ figures on the previous page.
