Re: Grish`s WIPs - Ogre Slaughterer
I don't like this figure, but the painting comes along very well.
Re: Grish`s WIPs - Ogre Slaughterer
I would suggest adding more different color tones (purple, green, red, blue) to the skin.
miniatures painted:
2011 - 83, 2012 - 38, 2013 - 45, 2014 - 56, 2015 - 95, 2016 - 106, 2017 - 22

Re: Grish`s WIPs - Ogre Slaughterer
oh my, your pics show how bad the sculpt is - rough, with all the details not sculpted but carved. and carved very roughly...
Re: Grish`s WIPs - Ogre Slaughterer
Well, I don`t want to make his skin looks like a messsea.man wrote:I would suggest adding more different color tones (purple, green, red, blue) to the skin.
@ Mahon
Yeah, it is hard to paint him, especially the skin
Re: Grish`s WIPs - Ogre Slaughterer
I think small addition of those different colours to the shades of the skin would be acceptable and give it more depth. I still think the skin looks pretty unfinished. I'd be tempted to try either doing tattoos or even veins and stuff in his skin.
Re: Grish`s WIPs - Ogre Slaughterer
Ok, can anyone show me a good inspirating picture/s with skin you are talking about?

Re: Grish`s WIPs - Ogre Slaughterer
add different colors to shadows. check the reference pic from me.
to me the skin color is too (unnaturally) monochrome.
