well, personally I always see first multi-pose plastic units when someone mentioned shoulders over head :) chaos warriors, then orcs (cause I had a greenskins army).
but yes, termies are a great example too :)

That last model is rather quite cool i like the crisp clean lines on the model :)

This one reminds me of the old, wonderful Virago mini from the Iliad "Chroniques de la lune noire" range, not as good obviously but the idea is there!
