first 1 whas Hobgoblin the grey secount 1 is Hobgoblin the white .. :P
you missing Hobgoblun the black :P

this time hands look better - as they are separated
blades to - especialy back 1 - better but thats not valid NMM :) - try next 1 with proper NMM (look at Flamon black NMM )

but never less details such like belt , straps on arms or claws on foots are much beter visible - now if you combine this with the idea that yo whana lets sey - get grown cloaths , red belt end green skin - end menage to presentthis in B/W in a way that all ppl wil know that belt got difrent Value then cloths end skin is also difrent - you get this exorcize done :)
- (yes thats possible as each volor got it own vave lenght end red is 750 when blue is 330 - so by difrent contrast you will get somthing like that )
if you need future tips how to i will make fast photo manipulation :)
as an inspiration :
works from Ignis
(ye you mey find her on this forum :P)

https://www.coolminiornot.com/286303?browseid=563356
https://www.coolminiornot.com/286304?browseid=563356

- look how details are expoused on thous minis (not teling about color parts - that l8 ers )
end som more works for inspiration :)

OK, so i will prepare and prime the next one and read up on NMM (never did that before).
Will try to start with the blades and will post them separately to try to get them right.

Regarding the black and white value of the colors i found this:

somthing wrong pictures dont load ... but i get whhat is on photos :)
ye thats the idea :) - about blades - make them look "shine" without metalic paint - this is quite intresting tech as it look good only if contrast is realy high but adicionaly transicion is male real like :)

Pictures don't load cause on those, cmon don't allow third part linking, you have to drag and drop the links into a new tab of your browser to actually be able to see the pics :)

Hi Daniel, perhaps we should ask Maru if we could make this thread into a classroom? So the newbies have an own thread for exercises?

Well mout ppl dont gerr this right for first time . actualy, non of them without tutor siting next to them :)
any suggestion on painting black and white on "flat" models ?
a Gradient like on computer graphic programs :)
so thats quite good training as yu got adicional chandicap not only black end white but but flat to - so how to
layering is 1 of opcions , other is glazing - rhats realy good 1 as you mey also get the "water control" by doing this , best 1 (meybe not best but fastest end adicionaly hardest - Wet blending - effect made corectly is realy good ) but wet blending reqire control over water end paint :)

so is moust advenced 1

well blending training is good idea eny way :P
