How do you like those new Empire stuff? Are those well detailed?
It is a bit hard to judge it, because you either made the photo with flash or the light is near to the model and everything is too highlighted.
As for the metallics, you could play with washes blue, violet, browns...

The demigryph knights set is very good: great sculpts, perfect proportions, very fine details, and what not. the beasts are perfecet mounts for a charcter rider. Worth buying it.

Thanks for info!
Now I would wash the metallics with some darker colors - browns/ blacks. In my opinion it is way too blue. You can always try on a small element and if you are happy with the result apply it all over

Thanx. I have added more shadows and the rider is now finished. Now moving on hte base.
